Hi y’all!
Just wanted to excitedly tell you that we will be having a handball tournament on March 10, 2012 at 6:30pm @Osborne Gym. The registration form is up, so please register your team and send in your fees MINIMUM ONE WEEK BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT.

Last Sessions before Christmas (and finals!)
Hello Handballers!
It’s always a bittersweet moment coming ’round to the Christmas season. We’re sad to say it’s the end of handball for the 2011 year, even though the jingling of bells is just around the corner. However, we look forward to kicking off the 2012 year with you, so be sure to check your inboxes after your opening of presents and (hopefully safe) ski trips!
Our last two sessions are:
November 29th, 4pm – 6pm @ SUB Ballroom
November 30th, 2pm – 4:30pm @ SUB Ballroom

Clubs Days 2011
Hello all Handballers!
Quick shout out to all of you who made it out to last Tuesday’s free session – it was awesome to see you all out there! We look forward to having some more intense fun with you again in the near future! Stay tuned for more free sessions, coming right up the first week of October.
For this year’s Clubs Days, we’ll be hanging out in the SUB Party Room, so please come on by and say hello. We’re always excited to see new and veteran students alike on the lookout for great clubs – especially one handball-related one in particular 
. Come on by anytime on September 21st, 22nd, or 23rd and we’ll be sure to give you a high five – if you think you can handle the awesomeness!

Welcome Handballers 2011
Why hello there!
Welcome to the UBC Handball Club’s one-stop shop for all things handball. For those of you who are just joining us this season, you will find updates about events, tournaments, and drop-in sessions all on this website. A special welcome to all the first-years – it’s going to be an exciting year!
To kick-start 2011, we will be holding a FREE session on Tuesday, September 13th from 4:00-6:00pm. Come out, bring your friends, and have one heck of a time!

Handball Tournament: Conclusion
Hey everyone,
The tournament was a great success! Throughout the night, there were some amazing goals, equally amazing saves, and we all had fun. We’d like to give a big thank you to everyone who came by on Saturday to donate clothes and play in our first-ever tournament! Â Congratulations to the top team who won the $100 grand prize. Â From here on out, we’ll have our regular Tuesday sessions until the end of this term. Hopefully we’ll see you all this week!
Handball Tournament!!
Hey everybody!
We will be having our very first tournament on Saturday March 12th at 7:00 pm at Osbourne Gym. The cost will be $25 per team but if you bring unused articles of clothing, we’ll shave off up to $5 from the initial cost, and the clothes will be donated to the less fortunate. Each team must have 5-7 players with at least one guy and one girl per team. You may have more than 7 players per team, but keep in mind that only 5 players can be on the field at any one time (and the rest will be substitutes). For full details on the tournament and to register a team, click here.
We hope all of you can take some time out from studying/paper-ing/stressing and come have some fun with us at Osbourne! We will also appreciate any and all unused items of clothing for donation!

Term 2 Update
Hey All,
We hope all of you have had a relaxing winter break, because Term 2 is starting up as well as another season of handball games! Just a reminder that this term our games will be Tuesdays 4-6pm and Wednesdays 2-4:30pm both at the SUB Ballroom. We will also have a tournament coming up soon as well as fundraisers and other events, so check back next week for more info on that. The games will be starting next week so make sure to come by! And tell your friends!

Final Two Sessions and Next Term’s Schedule
Hello once again fellow Handball enthusiasts,
This is just a reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, November 23 will be our second-last game of the term. Next week, Tuesday, November 30 will be the final game. We hope you’ll be able to join us for a merry round of handball before Christmas season hits, and best of luck on all your finals!
We will update all of you on what’s happening next term, including upcoming tournaments, fundraisers, etc. Please join us next term for another awesome time of handball! Next term’s schedule looks like this so please plan your schedules accordingly to fit in this all-important time:
Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in SUB Ballroom
Wednesdays from 2:00pm to 4:30pm in SUB Ballroom
Take care, be wary of the slippery ice out there. We hope the snow and thought of hitting the slopes will alleviate some of the stress of school. Is it just us, or is it FREEZING out there?!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey you guys and gals,
We hope you’ve been having a great weekend, and we’d like to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Take at least a small break from your study and spend some time with your family, friends, and other loved ones, and take some time to remember how blessed we are, living in the most beautiful city in the world. There won’t be a game tomorrow on Thanksgiving Monday, but there will still be one on:

We hope to see you there to burn off all the turkey, tofurkey, turducken, stuffing, and assorted goodies you’ll be stuffing (pun definitely intended) yourself with all weekend. Have an awesome one!
